A very small, very colorful succulent I did for Color pencil II, which the people at the garden store where I got it have been unable to identify. I think it might be related to the Jade plant, but I'm not sure. It's about five inches across, if that helps. AHA! We found the tag! I like that this festive little thing is called "Lola". It's related to hen-and-chicks, and a bunch of other popular houseplants. More here: [link]

No, I've got the name, I just forgot to update it. What your friend has got a hold of there is something in the Echivera family, but it's definitely not a jade plant. It's still an awesome subject.
No, you avoided that well, it looks realistically textured. There are some very similar succulents where I spend my summers, so these at once looked super accurate to me.
