Field Sketch 1

Just finished a Field journaling /sketching class for my elective hours for my certification. For this pen-and-ink technique, we were told to try breaking one of the edges. I ended up eliminating at least one per sketch. The scene is a slice of the "hardwood forest" from the Denver Botanic gardens.
I toke them home later and experimented with a faster, looser coloring style.

Media: Technical Pen, Prismacolor marker.
Time: Twenty minutes (3 for sketch, 17 for color)
