Fun Fact! The Colorado 2012 fire season never actually ended.
About half a dozen back-country fires burned/smoldered all winter, and the 2012/2013 season continues/kicked off this Saturday with the Galena Fire.
Which started DURING a blizzard. (Okay, in the beginning the fire was so small,we couldn't see the smoke plume until it melted the next day, but still.)
Yes, millions of gallons of water falling from the sky and coating every available surface is not enough to stop things from catching ablaze out here.
