So, my mom is probably going to be on the board of a non-profit art museum pretty soon, and will be in charge of fundraising for the museum.
In the past, they’ve done a “Gala” which is basically a party for rich people, and frankly, it’s both unnecessarily exclusive and is actually costing the museum money.
What the museum really needs is broad public support and especially the support of young people to raise

This appeared in the Letters to the Editor of my paper today (names redacted for anonymity):
" In the United States, (City) was one of the last visages of the human spirit. A testament to independence, creativity and true will. But then wily magazine editors told of the City's grandeur, thus enacting a mass emigration. Now signs moloch, mediocrity and commerce can be seen from most angles.
Poor (City)- this once bright home-schooled goddess, full of imagination and wonder, now sullied by the machine. Poor (City)- blanketed by the erroneous disenchantment of the western mindset. So sit quietly and watch as the error of unpredictability falls

The reason I had to go out and hit my trees was because it was snowing, and as most of them had not lost their leaves yet, I had to go knock the snow off them so that their branches don't break off.
I am pleased, however, that when presented with such an odd post, most of you supported my life choices.
The Rake, however, was broken, so I ended up using a broom.
